Which are the system requirements to use Workbench Server

We present the requirements for you to mass process computers through the network by using the Workbench Server. You will need a computer acting as a server where you will have Workbench Server. We call this computer Server.

Note that you can get a specialized machine from DeviceTag.io, the DeviceTag.io Box, with everything set-up and included support for the eReuse.org software.

We present four configuration levels:

  • Compromised minimum: Strict minimums sacrificing non-essential functionality resulting in lesser preformance or incapacity to perform extra tasks.

  • Minimum: minimum to use all functionality when processing lesser than 5 machines at a time.

  • Recommended: good values when processing up to 20 computers at a time.

  • High performance: recommended values when processing more than 20 computers at a time (tested with 60 machines at a time), or lesser machines but quite faster.
